Quik question about the schematic for the $50 robo
« on: December 10, 2007, 05:22:07 AM »
Alrighty... First post. Doubtfully the last.

Im trying to wrap my head around the schematic with the dots, but one thing that I can't figure out between the dots and the photos, is what I am supposed to connect PIN 2 of the Programmer to. It says "Pin 7", so should I just solder a jumper from PIN 2 of the Programmer, to PIN 7 or 21/20 of the socket? OR, does it go to the ceramic capacitor, and thus to PIN 20 of the socket?

I tried to find a less confusing schematic.. but that didn't go so well. Of to bed. Thanks.

The forum kind of smooshed it, but if you have IE7 just zoom in on it. Otherwise just check it out at photobucket.

Bear in mind if you are going to be using the AVRISP Mk II programmer you will have to redraw it for the 6-pin connector. I didnt take the time to do this.
