hmm....point taken...but theres a copter that my friend has that has a height control lever on his controller and then one for forward and one for left and right...
helicopters are pretty hard to make from scratch yes you can use the r/c controller from the car but not the motors. You need to calculate the torque of the motor and the rotor width.
you engineers and your calculating
Ironically, a quadrotor copter would probably be easier to build since you don't need the cyclic control mechanisms. But lets see if you can afford 3 gyros and 2 accelerometers plus 4 brushless motors with motor controllers.
he give me like $20-$40 an hour. and i get to keep a whole heap of free stuff...about $100-$300 of free stuff! u just got smashed!~smash
lol i normally get $10 a week and i work for my friends dad (at the factory) and he give me like $20-$40 an hour. and i get to keep a whole heap of free stuff...about $100-$300 of free stuff! u just got smashed!
but i am running into a lot of trouble with funding and finding the right parts...... i am trying to keep my robot making up by selling some of my other things that i have lying around my house...
no! last week he through out 1 computer and two office phones! and a whole heap of cables and cords.~smash
I don't want to hijack this thread but do you really need 4 gyros and 2 accelerometers for a Quadricopter? Also couldn't you just use 4 'helicopter' servos from servo city?
also there are very little parts i can harvest from a pc....before this weekend i was only getting like $7 a week us ($10 aus)
OMG ed I was cracking up, you know what , ed we need a webpage or thread devoted to all this funny pics we have posted in response to Smash's comments, so it will be available for any other memeber who would like to use a pic to prove a point , lol.
