Atmega 168 from futerlec

this is the right microcntroller for the $50 robot upgrade right? ATMega168V 28-Pin 10MHz 16kb 8-bit Microcontroller, here is a link http://www.futurlec.com/ICAtmel.shtml . scroll down to ATMega16 - 16k Flash Memory. It would be appreciated if someone can respond soon.

Well, that part you listed is the ATMEGA168V-10PI, while I used ATMEGA168V-10PU. Both will work. The difference is that the PU is RoHS compliant (environmentally friendly), which is why it is more expensive. You won't be able to buy the PI if you live in Europe.
