urgent help required..!!!

i have made the $40 robot to follow a white line. the probllem is the motors do not start at all even though i have given proper connections. as soon as i supply power all the leds start glowing but the motor does not start. what may be the problem..?

yes i have checked all my pin connections and everything seems fine

If everything seems fine, then it is working, right?
Make sure you check all the pins everywhere!

Is your battery fully charged?

This may be too simple an answer, but are you sure the motor works?
