winavr tutorial

this is quite silly i buillt the electronics , i made the chaisis i even made the code i will use then to my utter shame  i realised i still dont know how to load the code in the mcu iam using atmega 16 and i need to know how to use  the winavr application to load and debug my mcu plzz provide the following information

1.how to load the program in the mcu using winavr after writing the code?
2.how to debug the program(simulation,emulation whatever.....)?
3.and incase i made a mistake or iam making some changes(like adding a new sensor) how i erase the previously loaded program and load the new program??

plzzz help iam a newbie and the only thing stopping me is this plzzz help
