sharp ir SENSOR

OK I NEED  A SHARP IR SENSOR FOR MY NEXT PROJECT BUT IT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE SO I NEED TO BUY IT ONLINE

CAN ANYONE TELL ME FROM WHICH SITE TO BUY IT FROM (THE SITE MUST PROVIDE INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE DELIVERY) AND WAT MAY BE THE PRICE OF SUCH KINDA SENSOR???

ok good but can i achievethe same thing by using just infrared sensor and emitter pair???

With sensor and emitter pair you will not be able to sense distance. If only obstacle avoidance is necessary, try http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/102 .
