USART TIMEOUT

hello...
i' having problem with received data from usart....how do i refresh the received usart if it failed... and how the usart timeout? so i can resend the data if no ACK received..

What do you mean by 'refresh the received usart'?

USART doesn't time out, your hardware would time out if its programmed to time out.

(you need to tell us more about your setup, and steps you have taken to attempt to resolve the problem)
