« on: April 21, 2008, 12:47:33 PM »
I'm going to the PSU Mini-Grand Challenge this Saturday on April 26th. Anyone else going?

Anyway, I'm thinking of entering my ERP . . . but I need GPS . . . anyone have any specific recommendations? Something under $150 and reliable with the sats . . .

I'd ask the guys at spark-fun what they think is their best. I use the EB-85A made by ETek but I don't have a lot of room for comparison (or much collected data) yet since it's my first GPS and have been working on other stuff at the moment, but the 5hz update isn't to bad. Price is about right at $99

Hi
Garmin has some nice systems. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=157
I know a few people who are using the gps16 with no problems
