ATMEGA 16 vs ATMEGA 8535 ???

hi, all. i am anggie from indonesia.

i used to make  robots using the ATMEGA 8535. but now i wanna try to use the atmega 16. does anyone here knows the different between them?i've seen the configuration, but i don't see any huge different between them.

Hmmmm the pinout is the same, but the 16 has more memory, and some of the pins have additional features. You're code and wiring probably doesn't even need to be changed other than declaring its a 16 and not a 8535 in the makefile.
