This was my very second robot, named Pikachu, that I entered into MOBOT 2003. The video starts off showing what it looks like, followed by a big Pikachu thing on top of it as it goes down the course.
Pikachu used a CMUcam and a Cerebellum (PIC16F877) microcontroller.
The reason it failed on the hills was mainly a result of having poor speed control. Plus, I sucked at making robots back in 2003 . . .
This is Hex, the first hexapod robot to attempt the MOBOT course.
It was built by my friends Pras and Rich, and uses my CMUcam code from my Pikachu robot.
This is Pikachu IV, a simple photoresistor line follower robot that I entered into MOBOT 2006 at CMU.
