I cant find a cheap enough remote control and I dont know how to build one does anyone have any ideas.

Ummm, I would not buy that. I bought it as a package, with the GWS receiver, and it never worked...best $100 I ever spent  It was way past the return date, by the time I gave up on getting it to work. Even though it'll cost more, save yourself a hassle and purchase either a Futaba or Hitec transmitter package, it'll cost you more, but in the end it'll save you time & money spent of shitty electronics.
