advice regarding textbooks

Does anyone know of any good intermediate-level textbooks? I have a fairly well-stocked lab, and I have read and used several introductory textbooks, but I am having trouble finding ones in between really easy and insanely hard.

Theres a book from Hutchinson called robot modeling and control which i have found usefull on multiple occasions.
