WebCam light auto-adjust

Hello all,

I have a microsoft lifecam 1000 in my hand.  I've been modifying it for use in my ftir touchscreen (i.e. removing IR filter).  However, I still have one issue with it.

Like all other webcams, it has a built-in light auto-adjust feature.   How can I turn this off?  It's making the images captured by the camera hard to interpret.

I meant auto exposure.  Apologies.

Typically, it should make it easier!

Anyway, if the software that came with your cam doesn't allow it, there isn't much you can do about it . . .
