short-range audio recorder

hey whats up dudes,
i'm tryin to build my own short-range audio recorder. I have a health insurance company trying to screw me.  Can u guys tell me how to make my own audio transmitter/reciever?  I dont have much cash but this dude needs to be brought down.  I need to know how to make my own audio bug just with stuff that i can get in town.  I hope you dudes can help.

i think audio transmission is one of the widest discussed topics on teh intarw3b. just google "mike bug" or "wireless bug" and you're guarantted to find tens of schematics.

why not just use a tape recorder?
