« on: September 05, 2008, 07:19:39 PM »
Can I use a different type of programmer like one that is usb or something in that nature so I don't need to use a serial port? If so how will I do that.

Ok thanks. Also I just hooked up my servos straight to the battery pack and they work for 1 second and stop. I have the Futaba S3004 Servo. The battery pack measures 6 volts but for some reason does not power the servo that needs 4.6 - 6 volts. Also I hooked them right up to the battery pack to test them if you are wondering.

Do you mean that you just connected the servo straight to the battery pack? If so - then it wont do anything anyway. Servos, unlike DC motors, require a pulse to make them work - not a steady voltage.

they work for 1 second and stop Using the photvore code or the centering a servo code?

Thank you so much. When I finish building the micro controller I will test it.
