Will this microcontroller run sensors?

This micro controller ( http://www.trossenrobotics.com/parallax-usb-servo-controller.aspx ) says it is a servo one but will it be able to run other sensors like IR Range Finder?

What is a good microconroller than can run 2 servos and around 2+ sensors for under $50.
