Image Processing application in Robotics-Suggestion please.

Hi guys ..
I am in the final year of my Under Graduate Course . I am supposed to submit a project within the next four months.
I have already decided that it would be something to do with ' Image Processing to control a bot ' , having already done some work in that area.
But i have not been to able to decide on an application that will impress my professors.

This is really important to me as the ' Final Year Project ' adds a significant weight to my resume.

Can you people please suggest some applications.Will be grateful for any help.

Webcam->Laptop->RoboRealm software

if you are using a MCU, consider AVRCam, Blackfin, or (what I use) CMUCam.

But i have already decided to go with OpenCV..And the thing is i want suggestion for an application that i could implement using my bot.
An application impressive enough.
Say if i want to make an autonomous rescue robot. What features must it have??
