new Axon and $50 Robot bootloader
« on: November 25, 2008, 10:48:56 PM »
If you have an external hardware programmer, try out the latest bootloader v2.1 (attached). I just compiled and tested it, so maybe it will solve some problems the older version had.

Select the appropriate file and upload it using AVR Studio.

None have been extensively tested, so you'll be a beta tester ;D

Please report your findings here!

This boot loader fixes the WDT timer on the Axon.

With the previous boot loader it would not execute.  However, now it does so correctly.

Its been extensively tested, no problems ever came up.

I also attached a file for the ATmega1280 and ATmega2560, if anyone needs it.

Do these work with Windows XP sp3?
If so i might consider getting one...
Do we have to download the "old" fboot17.exe file, or whatever its called. ::)
And Admin said "Let there be robots!"
And it was good.

It works with sp3 . . . very very slowly. 'Downgrade' to sp2 for USB to work properly.

You should use v21 with these.
