Help creating circuit to rotate HS-311 servo to 0
« on: December 13, 2008, 03:36:07 PM »
Hi everyone.  I am trying to modify an HS-311 servo for continuous rotation.  After checking this site's tutorial, I found it doesn't go into any depth onto how to build the circuit that will rotate your servo to 0.  Yes, I've also checked these four forum posts.  Still, nothing explains how I build a circuit for said function.  Even after some time googling the topic I have had no luck.

I really have no experience in electronics, but I have/can obtain the necessary tools/materials to build an electronic circuit.

Would anyone be so kind as to list out the steps/materials I will need to build this?  Or can you point me to another tutorial that would address this?

you can either use a microcontroller to center it or use a circuit based off a 555 timer
Check out the Roboduino, Arduino-compatible board!
