JTAG daisy chain ---> Is it possible with AVRs

I haven't tested it.... And to say the truth, I don't really have time but....
Is it possible without any software to JTAG daisy chain multiple AVRs???

I'm building a Board with probably 5 - 6 AVRs and conventional ISP seems to be a joke...
Cause I would have to teer apart the whole robot to reprogram a controller...


I heard some guys saying that it isn't possible without any software but, it doesn't seem that I'll be needing any software
cause AVRs have hardware JTAG.....

Anyways, I'm confused and I'm asking for a clear answer...
