Robot City in Osaka?

I just heard about this 'Robot City' they are building in Osaka, Japan. I was told it's actually going to happen . . . but all I can find on google is out of date info where its only being considered.

Supposedly its meant to be a huge research center for robotics, but I couldn't get any more info . . . darnit, why did I learn to speak Thai and not Japanese?

Well I am Japanese and i was born in Osaka but i found out there is an area in Tokyo called, Akihabara. They say it's like a nerds dream city where there are robots and anime. I went there to and i bot som humanoid parts for my robot.
