are you talking about a chebyshev DSP filter?  Wikipedia is as good as any for a start on that.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chebyshev_filter

Never heard of it then.  What does it do more specifically?

it  move  in a straight line.  especially, mass center is constant when it is moving.
