motor, gears, and wheel sets

I'm trying to find the correct parts to hook up a dc motor with a combination of gears connected to the axel and wheels of a car. I can find motors, etc, but I don't know if they will all work together. I was just wondering if anybody knew a good site that had all of them that worked together?

You forgot to mention:
why you want gears on a motor
required rpm
required torque

and why you didn't like all the gearbox motors you can find searching the SoR parts list
