Help building my first robot...

Hey i need the specifications of a simple, easy to handle microcontroller. also i did not understand the laser tutorial so i need help with that too. be advised that i want things for a robot that is going to roll 2 meters and then DONE. PLEAZZZZZ EASY TO HANDLE

As quoted thousands of times, try the $50 Robot. You will gain a better understanding of robotics there....
