I got the idea from the scene in Shrek 1 when Donkey and Shrek see the visitor information booth in Duloc - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rasphu...

It works with an arduino controlling 6 servos for all the action. The door opening is detected by a Sharp IR. When the popper goes off, the (slightly) hidden camera takes a photo of the surprised audience

the only problem i can see is the one we raised last night about party poppers and eyes...
but i see you put them at the bottom so its all good
great job with the camera and music, this has got to be the best present ever!
