Eagle 3D, component addition to POV-ray
« on: June 09, 2009, 06:54:35 PM »
Hi
I have followed the tutorial for the 3D generation and can not get the addition of missing library components to work. There seems to be a slightly different format in the tutorial in that the word 'logo' is in the object string in my file but not in the tutorial. Might be irrelevant?

I render the board and it produces a picture (.bmp) but it does not find the added components? Has anyone any advice please. Thanks

Robert

You are probably just doing something wrong. Make sure you didn't miss a step.

Otherwise, we can't help without seeing relevant code to find your mistake :P

And fyi, its a bit tricky to add extra components. I run into issues all the time, always something different, but chug through it and you'll probably figure it out. Start with something you know that works, then tweak it from there.
