Bluetooth Robot control

Hi guys,

First I would like to thank everyone here for helping in creating my robot which won second place in our school competition. If you guys want to see here is the link
Easy on the looks.... the lowest priced and fastest bot wins... hence the "garbage get-up" ;D

Right now, I want to try to control the robot with my laptop via bluetooth. I think wee had a tutorial for this before.. just couldn't find it. If we dont have this anymore can somebody give me a kickstart? Thanks!

By the way, I am using atmega8.

well, heres a tutorial for uart with an atmega8 http://www.societyofrobots.com/microcontroller_uart_50_robot.shtml
and heres a tutorial for bluetooth http://www.societyofrobots.com/electronics_bluetooth_robot.shtml
the easiest module i have seen for bluetooth would have to be the bluesmirf.
pretty much just hook up +5V, gnd, rx and tx respectively and start transmitting through uart.

Smash, I think you meant http://www.societyofrobots.com/electronics_bluetooth_robot.shtml for bluetooth.  :D
