Analog Distance Sensor/ what servo to use?

if i want to put my sensor on a servo so it can track objects walls and people what servo should i use?,

and how to attach them?

most servos will do fine, even your $50 robot servos!
you will need something called a mounting bracket to attach a sharp ir or sonar.

really anything would work, since it is a reletivly easy task for a servo. as far as speeds and torque, you dont need to get that detailed. for mooving a sharp IR, all you really need is an HS-311 Hi-tech servo.

if you have the $50 robot you can download admins stampy code for it..
the code is a sharp ir on a servo that tracks the left side of objects...
