I did not totally understand the power regulator instructions so I thought if would try and build one on it's own board that would help me learn and I might be use it on my second project.
Had a fuse which not right but know to correct that and the LED lite up.
The first regulator is an ML7805A using a 10uF 100V capacitor.
the second is a NTE2364 using a 0.1uF 100V capacitor plugged into the first capacitor's output. I will be using a 1400mAh 6V battery pack Ni-MH.
At 7.5V input from my power supply the ML7805A put out 6.64V and the NTE2364 put out 6.15V.
At 6V input the ML out put 5.17 and the NTE out put 4.69V.
Two questions related one question off subject;
1) What might be my problem with getting from 6V to 5V with my set up?
2) Is there a product i can get to get me past this from now?
3) The reason I am this far along with my electronics section without prepare the servos is I need help on getting them to true center before I take them apart. Already messed up one servo from another project cause i do not think I centered it correctly.
Thank you for your time I will move on to progarming for now. Can not wait until I have a better understanding of this basic stuff so I can just buy me a Axon for my ERP.
