i know the EU has an equivalent of the fcc, i just don't know what it is called. a majority of devices will adhere to fcc/EU standards. Without their rating they can't be sold in the US or EU. That's a very large world market, lots of places want to sell to that market so they'll make their devices fcc compliant. To find out, the information would be in the user manual. If you could find a pdf of the manual you'd be able to find out if it is fcc compliant or not.
