How to start
« on: August 19, 2009, 08:41:02 PM »
Hi, I have never built a robot or anything like one and i have never programmed before. I was thinking about making the 50$ robot and getting robot builder's bonanza, third edition. Is their anything easier you would recommend. I'm only thirteen so i dont go over around 100$ please.

thank you,

Ahmed

yeh go with the $50, even though it may end up costing 55-60 but the experience you gain is priceless.

And read as many Tutorials as you can as they really help

  • It's not a bug, it's a feature!

You don't have have to follow EXACTLY the same layout. But the the connections have to be the same. Also, considering the layout is already pretty simple, you may want to stick with it, or as close to it as possible.

As for the programmer, this depends on which one of the programmers you purchased while ordering the parts. The 2 that were presented had slightly different interfaces one had a 6pin interface, while the other is a 10pin interface. ;)
