Mapping Circut Board

I would like to create a three wheeled robot that would use impact sensors to be able to map a room and then once it impacted into the wall would continue down the wall and eventually after completeting the coarse would be able to create a virtual map in its mind and be able to then be able to avoid its obstacles. I am using a PARALLAX BOE-BOT  KIT and would like to know how to create it.

Well you would create this 'map' in the uC's code not with a circuit. It has been done in various ways but is still an area of research.
Check the tutorials here on SoR first as there is an algorithm discussed for navigation that could be applied.
