40 pin ribbon and headers NOT ide headers

i need to find some cable like the kind you see on ide ribbons with 40 wires like an ide ribbon. i also need headers that have connections for all 40 pins (ide is missing one) and i'd like to make them the length i want. anyone know a source for these?

Hi,

They are everywhere, just look for IDC headers (IDC = Insulation Displacement Connector).

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
