Laser Light + Webcam = Window media player remote control

Hi folks,

With lillte bit of computer vison trechnology, i've created a laser based controller for windows media player. well like evryone, even I love listening to music on my laptop, but changing tracks is a real pain as I have to reach  the keyboard every time so i thought of making this,  .

Program I coded is capable of recognising 8 basic gestures of patterns made by laser. And whenever a particular pattern is detected a event is raised which controls the window media player. Now who needs a remote control when we have laser and webcam..

Make you comments and suggestions, I'd love to hear them..meantime I'll try to hook up more things with my laptops and control them with laser light..lol
