Hand moved robotic arm - Looking for a kit or simpler way to build it

I want to build a 3d scanner with manual operation with enocders on joints like Faro arm is



So it is manually operated.
Is there a kit or cheaper solution to buy that you know about that uses one rotational platform and 2-3 joints with encoders that I could use for it?
