I'm planning of building a mini robot of my own for a project. What is the best disc you've ever used? Ever tried Smith & Arrow? (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/smith-and-arrow__W0QQ_armrsZ1 (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/smith-and-arrow__W0QQ_armrsZ1)) My friend actually recommended this, but he ain't no pro so thought i'd ask you guys.

i assume you are talking of a angle grinder or a chop saw ???
i don't think it really matters, what will you be cutting ???
go with what you can afford if you want good quality, but if your like me and think on is probably as good as the other go with the cheaper one and spend mor on robot parts. ;D

You can also make everything from scratch , like I did:

and it's almost all made out of metal (except the wheels). soon to publish a short tutorial, maybe it will be useful to someone.
