Servo wires

My servo wires are connected into a plastic square thing. It says in the tutorial to put the different colors into different places like microcontroller and battery pack. How are you supposed to do that if they're connected?

they aren't connected. The plastic square thing is a connector.
You can stick wires in each hole (red for Voltage, black for ground and the other connected to the microcontroller)

Keep reading on in the tutorial. You will see how the servo is plugged in.
