i m making a uC board where i want different power supply for logic and different supply for the output devices...............how this functionality can be configured.i hav made the board on the platform of atmega16 chip.

Hi,
Just connect the grounds (0V lines) of the two power sources and use transistors or opto couplers to isolate between them.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
