any info on it's autonomy? The video mentions the operators... effectively making it an expensive radio controlled tool rather than a robot which would be too bad  :'(

The Darpa competition requires a very high level of autonomy. I admit at the moment it looks less than capable of anything, but it could just be in early phases of testing.

I did not know that they even had competitions for making
robots for Nasa, that is, accepting amateurs too? This would
be great! Everybody would want to make a robot for Nasa, to
work in outer space!   8) 8)
