Robot created from old RadioShack flashlight...
« on: May 28, 2015, 03:38:05 PM »
I have been creating a robot from scratch using an old RadioShack flashlight I found at the junkyard.

It's been fun so I decided to create a YouTube video series of the process.

So far there are only 3 parts but I plan to keep going until the Robot is 100% complete. Maybe I could get suggestions on how I can improve or do things better with the robot. I'm pretty new to this stuff so all comments and suggestions are very welcome!

Here's part 1 of the series, https://youtu.be/JzeoNbCKu6I
Here's part 2, https://youtu.be/Vc9OcViOAYc
And part 3, https://youtu.be/eCJVRt-wn2o

The first two are probably a little too long. I've decided to keep them down to less than 5 minutes now, so on part 3 you'll see I've shortened it and made it more manageable to watch.

Thank you for watching and I seriously hope to hear from you!

 ;D Hello!
Wow! never thought of using a battery housing for a robot!
Very Creative! You could make a cross between Dr. Whos' sonic screwdriver and his robotic companion K - 9;)
On a recent movie, a bot was inflatable from a smaller device. Option?  :-\
Good Luck!!   :) :D ;D

Haha, thanks! For now I'll just work with this thing to completion.
