Burnt pcb
« on: July 08, 2009, 09:14:05 PM »
hi,
I have recently started the 50$ robot. I'm on the electronics part and was desoldering when i burnt my board (only about 4 holes). I also moved ever componet left by one circle:( i just started so i only have the slot for the Avr and some male headers in so i'm wondering if i should get more of those parts and start over (as a last resort) or continue.
       Thanks to all that help

You should be OK to continue. The fact that you moved everything over one hole should not affect anything. There is no magic to the lay out. If you need to move things around a little to make it work that's OK. The real important thing is that all of your electrical connections are made between the correct parts.

Good luck with your project
