disabled person needs help with setting up microcontroller
« on: October 07, 2014, 04:12:35 PM »
I am a physically disabled person, and I have some simple electronics projects I would like to build in order to help me operate some devices.  For example, I need a way to turn pages on a Kindle.  I was thinking of mounting a servo on either side of the device in order to push the buttons to turn pages.  However, I cannot do this myself, and I don't know anyone who can do it.  Are there companies or individuals that will set up a microcontroller that is interfaced to a servo, or any similar kind of electronics project?

Have you considered working with a local Robofest or First Robotics team?
I get paid to play with robots - can't beat that with a stick.
