Saturday, September 18, 2010
10:00 am - 8:45 pm
Live Music starts at 12 noon

National Electronics Museum
1745 West Nursery Rd.
Linthicum, MD 21090

Join us for a day of knob-twisting, circuit-bending and free-form sound and music experimentation as performers explore and push the very edge of electronic music. This will be an event filled with the sounds of electronic keyboards, handmade electronic instruments and exotic modular synthesized systems.

There will be workshops given by our musicians and DIYers throughout the day on the technology they use in their performances. Learn how they do it and talk to them one-on-one. Experience hands-on workshops about cool musical instruments like the Theremin and Vocoder. Attendees can sign up for a hand-on workshop to build a simple electronic music instrument, that you can build, play and take home when you leave. There will also be a workshop presented where you will be able to build a Theremin by Harrison Instruments and learn to solder in the process.

Donation Fee:
