$50 robot MCU, battery, and switch holder

I was at the hardware store picking up some plumbing parts for a sink repair, and I saw this by the battery rack:


RPI (Resourceful products inc.) lock & store battery storage container AA size, holds 12 AA batteries (which means rooms for your 5 pack, switch, and some wires). Also is just a bit wider than the $50 robot board making it just perfect. Its also the soft plastic that won't crack when you drill or cut it.

That looks like a pretty good thing to have lying around :D...

Do you know if you could make that box waterproof? If so, that would be perfect for my upcoming underwater robot...

Made an adapter out of the compartment separator since the Roboduino is wider.

if you got the D holder you could put the mcu inside and try to waterproof it with seals of somekind, or if the seals are like Ferraro rochers you could just use some tape, but then if would float?

You could make all your connections and then basically follow the how to waterproof a servo tutorial on this site.

I'm just talking about waterproofing the mcu like HyperNerd asked about, and how he could use the same technique used in the waterproofing servo tutorial. I'm not actually talking about waterproofing servos.
