Hi- I was wondering which would be the best way to move the legs of a legged robot?
servos?
linear motors?
air bladders?
nitona wire(muscle wire)?
If any of you have any ideas or experience on this subject, I would like to hear it

I would go for the servos they are cheap and relativity easy to program, linear motors air bladders nitona wire(muscle wire) are fairly expensive and are bigger. so servo are probably you best bet

You could consider a linkage that doesn't require any of the above. There are several linkages out there that convert rotary motion to linear movement that may meet your design criteria. The klann linkage would be a starting point.

I say you should use servos. They are small, cheap, and most robots use servo's for legs so you can probably find a good amount of help with it.
