Way cool robot, man! I voted for you on instructables! If you remember me, I asked you about using wheelchair motors on my own robot several months ago. Coincidentally, I think you an I are working on similar projects. My bot's name in Nina, and she's meant to to do some of the same stuff as Chives!

My constructrion and programming on her was going pretty well. Recenetly, though I've hit a stumbling block. The base I built for her was getting too heavy for Windshield Wiper motors, so I'm breaking out those wheelchair motors I bought, and now I have to build a new base to fit those! But, as they say, "Nothing works unless you do!"

I just wish I didn't live in 108 degree weather so I could do more construction on her. In the meantime I'm developing Nina's programming and A.I. (I'm experimenting with artificial 'Learning' for lack of a better word.

I to voted for Chives. I have a question that I couldn't find on your blog about chives. How do you make the motors move from your computer? Do you use a Microcontroller that is hooked up to your computer all the time? Or maybe a card in the back of the computer. Ohh wait, its a laptop.

Impressive.  Most impressive!  That's such a cool robot!  Now all you need to do is post a video of him actually moving around a bit more, so we can appreciate his full glory! 

Wow.  I'll be lucky if I can EVER make a robot ALMOST as good as this!
