RESISTORS help!!

HELP! i cant find a 340 ohm resistor!!! !!! !! only 330ohm!!! and 390ohm!!! i think its cuz i live in Australia! !!! !! HELP! wait the question...would the 330ohm work on yur $50 robot tutorial?!!!! if not, how bout 390ohm??!!

And it's not because you live in australia. It's called the E12 series of resistors.
Google is your friend.

anyway, just put a 330 resistor in series with a 10 ohm...

Im sure that a 330 ohm resistor by itself will do. These resistor values are rarely very precise anyway. For powering a LED anything between 200 and 500 will do i should think.

I didn't pay attention to what the resistor would serve for, and indeed,
if it's only for a LED there is really no problem at all.

330 ohm should do. If you really want 340 measure a couple of 330 and probably you will find that some have resistance around 340 ohm.

This topic should be in Electronics area i think?
