Software can be easily "updated" maybe not easily changed :) We are talking about from the end users point of view not the programmers point of view. Hardware is hard for the end user to change.

Yeah you're right :P

But i still wouldn't want to waste too much time writing and rewriting code and then coming up with something inextensible and illegible. Planning software is essential! ;)

I know it is an old topic but  i want to know if there was a website out there that is still up and running form me to have a look at the details that were talked about. not one of the many "webs" sites but like the one that  Asellith was going to or has set up.

Since it's reanimated...
You are aware that OSCAR, among all the obvious associations, is a long standing open source MP3 player?
(I.e. the chance of somebody being able to Google their way to it is not all that great).

it is also the name of the Operating System the search engine AOL uses. when i searched OSCAR it came up with how to hack OSCAR, why is OSCAR used etc.

so i couldnt find it.
