Title: a tutorial on capacitor selection for PCB design
Post by: Admin on March 03, 2015, 04:47:55 PM
If you're designing a PCB and just guessing capacitors and randomly placing them, definitely read through this tutorial first.

It's a long read, but a good one:

While on the subject of selecting capacitors. Here is a good capacitor conversion tool to help convert uF nF pF.
http://www.uf-nf-pf.com/ (http://www.uf-nf-pf.com/)
Also a short article on how to combine capacitors in parallel and series.

Thanks,

 :) Hello!
Capacitor placement is important, to be sure, for EMF and
replacement reasons alone. If capacitors (large ones) explode,
they can make a mess! :'(
I was looking through the tutorials, and could not find anything on
voice controlled models. Is there any information on this? :)
