Getting my first microcontroller!!!

 ;D YAY after being away for quite awhile, i'm back, and having ordered my new PICaxe(8 pin) microcontroller i'm pumped. i'm not sure qwhat the hell i'm going to make but it'll be sweet with a microcontroller =D


Any Ideas on what I should make?
I have a bunch of random assorted electronic parts and a remote control tank base i want to hack... ???

This could be pretty fun and quite simple to make. You might already have everything you need!
